Learn how Lightweight Cellular Foam Concrete (CFC) can help you reduce labor and build better.
HARDSCAPE CONTRACTORS doing pavers know the time that can be spent getting the compacted gravel sub-base done right. With cellular foam concrete, you set screed rails, pour CFC, and easily screed it to a perfect and fully compacted sub-base. Unlike heavy and hard to move regular concrete, CFC is easy to move and typically weights only about 40 lbs/cubic foot, less than 1/3 the density of regular concrete.
If you are a POOL BUILDER, see how the Richway PermafillTM system helps you get a perfectly level pool the first time into the ground. No more lifting, leveling, and hoping. Use CFC fill at the the critical bottom corner intersection of the wall and floor to get 100 percent support with non-shifting fill. Get easy 100% fill under steps, tanning ledges, and other features with easy pumping and truly flowable CFC.
Thermally insulating to help reduce heating bills. Flows much better than flowable fill, because it does not have the high sand content which drops out of the water when pumping energy is stopped. CFC is also: pumpable, non-shrinking, freeze thaw stable, and can be excavated if necessary, with hand tools.
How it is made: CFC is a Portland cement and water slurry which contains millions of tiny air bubbles which are mixed in using and externally generated detergent type foam.
Whether you are a hardscape contractor, pool builder, or both, see how cellular foam concrete can save you labor. In tight spaces or limited access areas, CFC can be pumped up to several hundred feet to place fill exactly where you need it. self-leveling, self-compacting, drainable if desired, easily excavated if needed, fully supports and surrounds plumbing, and can be produced at the site.
Richway SOLUTIONS makes and sells equipment to produce CFC at the the jobsite. The LV-3 Cretefoamer produces 3 cubic yards per hour, while the LV-6 produces 6 cubic yards per hour. The LV-6 can be “overclocked” to produce as much as 8 cubic yards per hour. [click on “Equipment” at the top of this page] If you want higher production rates, see the bigger equipment at www.richway.com for rates as high as 100 cubic yards per hour.
